Demonstration outside Pittencrieff House Museum

Skills demonstration draws crowds to Pittencrieff House (07 Sep 2010 - 14 Sep 2010 )

OVER 400 people came along to Sunday's event to showcase the traditional building skills being used to repair Pittencrieff House. As part of this year's Doors Open Day programme which is managed by Fife Council, the Scottish Lime Centre Trust pitched their tents outside the House to showcase the traditional skills being used to repair this much-loved building.

Public to be consulted on plans for Anstruther (06 Sep 2010 - 15 Sep 2010 )

AN exhibition about the proposed Anstruther Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) will take place next week (14 - 15th Sept) in the village. Fife Council Development Services who are preparing the exhibition are keen to hear the views of local residents and will be on hand to answer any questions about the proposed THI and the Draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan for Anstruther.
